AI sales coaching software turns evidence of how sellers actually sell into specific feedback for reps and their managers. In 2026 the best AI sales coaching software falls into three approaches: coaching from recorded calls (Gong, Chorus by ZoomInfo, Salesloft), coaching from AI role-play before the call (Mindtickle, Allego, Hyperbound, Second Nature) and real-time prompts during the call (Outreach Kaia).
Choose the approach first, then the vendor. Below are 12 tools with each one’s published pricing model, recent ownership changes and one factual limitation, plus a six-week pilot plan. This guide is about improving live selling behaviour; if you mainly need courses and certification, see the best sales training platforms and AI sales coaching vs a traditional LMS.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Disclosure: Revspire publishes this list and sells AI sales training and coaching software. Revspire appears once, in the role-play and readiness group, and is not ranked above other tools. Tools are grouped by approach and listed alphabetically within each group. Pricing models and ownership were checked on each vendor’s own site on 16 October 2026.
What is AI sales coaching software?
AI sales coaching software does three jobs that a manager cannot do for every rep every week. It observes a conversation (records it, transcribes it or simulates it), scores it against a rubric such as your methodology stages or objection-handling standard, and recommends a next action: a call moment to review, a role-play to repeat or a prompt to use now.
The three approaches differ in where that evidence comes from:
- Conversation-intelligence coaching works from real customer calls after they happen. The evidence is real, but reps learn from mistakes made in front of buyers.
- AI role-play and readiness coaching works from practice conversations with an AI buyer. It is safe to fail and scores are comparable across reps, but practice is not the real call.
- Real-time guidance works during the live call, surfacing a battlecard or prompt when a topic comes up. Feedback is instant, but it supports the moment rather than building the skill.
The lines are blurring: Gong Enable adds AI role-play to call analysis, Allego and Mindtickle sell conversation intelligence next to practice, and Salesloft shows live coaching cards during calls. Many teams end up using two of the three approaches.

Conversation-intelligence coaching: coaching from real calls
These tools record and transcribe customer conversations, score them and point managers to the moments worth coaching. Choose this approach when managers already coach but cannot listen to enough calls to know where each rep is slipping.
Chorus by ZoomInfo
ZoomInfo’s conversation intelligence product, sold as “ZoomInfo Chorus AI” within ZoomInfo’s engagement solutions. It records and analyses calls, meetings and emails.
- Choose it when: your team already buys ZoomInfo data and wants call insight from the same vendor.
- Coaching features: transcription and call insights; the product page says Chorus surfaces winning behaviours to build team skills, shorten new-hire ramp and reinforce your methodology (ZoomInfo Chorus).
- Pricing: no Chorus price is published. ZoomInfo’s pricing page shows Chorus as a feature card rather than a priced plan, and its FAQ says pricing depends on features, number of licences and credit usage (ZoomInfo pricing).
- Limitation: the product page does not mention AI role-play, so practice before calls needs another tool; ask how scorecards and feedback reach reps and managers.
Gong (including Gong Enable)
Gong’s revenue AI platform records and analyses customer conversations; Gong Enable is its enablement and coaching product.
- Choose it when: call evidence is the centre of your coaching and you want call review and practice from one vendor.
- Coaching features: AI Call Reviewer scores calls; a coaching inbox collects tasks and feedback; AI Trainer turns past calls into practice scenarios; Dry Run rehearses an upcoming meeting against an AI version of the customer; Initiative Tracking measures adoption of talk tracks and methodology (Gong Enable).
- Pricing: quote-based. Licences are per user, plus a platform fee based on the number of users; integrations are free; no figures are published (Gong pricing).
- Methodology add-ons: Challenger publishes AI Smart Trackers and an AI Playbook that run inside Gong; the trackers require the client’s own Gong subscription (Challenger, 3 Dec 2025).
- Limitation: the Gong Enable page does not say whether Enable is part of a core Gong licence or sold separately, so confirm it in the quote.
Salesloft Conversation Intelligence
Salesloft’s call recording and analysis product, part of the Salesloft platform that now includes Clari.
- Choose it when: reps already run cadences in Salesloft and you want coaching moments to become rep tasks in the same tool.
- Coaching features: automatic recording, transcription and call scoring; coachable moments that become rep tasks; and live coaching cards during calls, such as negotiation guidance triggered when a buyer says “discount” (Salesloft Conversation Intelligence).
- Pricing: the pricing page is a talk-to-sales booking flow with no figures (Salesloft pricing).
- Ownership: Clari and Salesloft announced on 3 December 2025 that they had merged, with Steve Cox as CEO (Salesloft). On 2 September 2026 Salesloft became the single company and platform brand; Clari Forecast keeps its name and Clari’s conversation intelligence continues inside Salesloft (Salesloft).
- Limitation: the product page does not mention AI role-play, so practice before calls needs another tool.
AI role-play and readiness: coaching before the call
These platforms let reps practise with an AI buyer, score each attempt against a rubric and give managers a readiness view across the team. Choose this approach when the problem is skill (new hires, a new product, a new competitor) rather than visibility. This section covers coaching workflows; for a feature-by-feature role-play comparison and a pilot scorecard, see best AI sales role-play software in 2026.
Allego
A sales enablement platform whose AI Role Play & Coaching product sits next to learning, content and conversation intelligence products.
- Choose it when: you want role-play, manager coaching, conversation intelligence and learning on one contract.
- Coaching features: on-demand simulations with AI video avatars and real-time feedback; manager scoring with rubrics and side-by-side review; readiness dashboards for leaders; conversation intelligence that shows where reps need coaching (Allego packages).
- Pricing: per user per month, billed annually upfront, based on seat count and contract length. The typical term is three years, with two- and one-year options; channel users and non-revenue roles get lower prices; no figures are shown (Allego pricing, modified 7 Jun 2026).
- Limitation: the typical term is three years, billed annually upfront, so agree pilot terms before committing to a multi-year contract.
Highspot by Seismic
Highspot’s coaching product, part of an enablement platform that also covers content, plays, training and buyer rooms.
- Choose it when: your content and plays already live in Highspot and you want coaching tied to them.
- Coaching features: AI role-play with multi-persona buyers tied to active opportunities; Manager Scorecards for one-on-ones; AI 360° skill assessments; a Meeting Agent and conversation intelligence that link call signals to a skills framework (Highspot coaching, modified 15 Jul 2026).
- Pricing: Good, Better and Best packages with no prices. Role-play appears from Better; meeting intelligence, AI feedback on meetings and coaching analytics appear only in Best (Highspot pricing, modified 7 Aug 2026).
- Ownership: Seismic completed its merger with Highspot on 18 August 2026, and the combined company operates under the Seismic name (Highspot blog).
- Limitation: coaching from real meetings needs the top package.
Hyperbound
An AI role-play and call-scoring platform sold as Hyperbound Practice, Hyperbound Perform and Kota Activate.
- Choose it when: SDR and AE teams need high-volume call practice and you also want real calls scored.
- Coaching features: AI role-plays and real-call scoring, with listed use cases for onboarding, QA and deal assessment, pre-call prep and hiring (Hyperbound).
- Pricing: Free, Practice and Perform plans with no prices shown; the page invites buyers to book a demo (Hyperbound pricing).
- Ownership: the site is copyrighted to IntelligentSystems Corp. and links to a Y Combinator company profile.
- Limitation: the pricing page does not list what each plan includes.
Mindtickle
A sales readiness platform covering training, coaching, AI role-play and conversation intelligence.
- Choose it when: you want coaching tied to a skills benchmark, with training assigned automatically when a gap appears.
- Coaching features: AI feedback on calls, prescriptive coaching templates, “coach the coach” programmes for managers, Readiness Index benchmarking, and automatic assignment of role-plays and training for skill gaps (Mindtickle coaching). Role-plays are AI-graded (Mindtickle role-play), and Mindtickle also lists conversation intelligence and Copilot products (Mindtickle).
- Pricing: not published; the Mindtickle pricing URL showed no plans or figures on 16 October 2026.
- Limitation: with no published packages, the quote is the only guide to which coaching modules are included.
Revspire
Revspire publishes this list. Its AI Sales Training & Coaching module is one part of a platform that also includes a Content Hub, an AI Playbook Engine and digital sales rooms.
- Choose it when: you want practice built around the objections and competitors in live deals, using battlecards from the same playbooks sellers use.
- Coaching features: AI video role-play with an AI buyer that adapts its follow-up questions; deal-specific objection practice with battlecards; instant AI scoring of clarity, confidence and objection handling with a suggested coaching focus; team readiness, improvement and performance tracking for managers.
- Pricing: Launch Suite $39.99 and Elevate Suite $79.99 per user per month; Spark Suite is custom. None of the three suites on the pricing page lists training or coaching features, so ask for module pricing in a demo (Revspire pricing).
- Limitation: the sales training page describes practice and scoring, not recording and scoring of real customer calls, so teams that want call-based coaching also need a conversation intelligence tool.
Second Nature
An AI role-play platform that positions itself as a virtual pitch partner for reps.
- Choose it when: you want a dedicated role-play tool that plugs into your existing LMS and CRM.
- Coaching features: AI role-plays for discovery, cold calls, objections and demos, with scoring and manager insights; Deal Coach guidance on live deals; LMS connections via SCORM or LTI, plus CRM and SAML integrations (Second Nature).
- Pricing: no prices; plans are discussed through a demo request. The pricing page could not be loaded on 16 October 2026.
- Limitation: the homepage does not describe recording or scoring real customer calls, so coaching from real calls needs another tool.
Real-time guidance: coaching during the call
Real-time tools listen to a live conversation and surface a prompt, battlecard or answer when a topic comes up. In this list, real-time guidance for B2B sales teams comes from engagement and conversation intelligence suites (Outreach, and Salesloft’s live coaching cards). Balto and Cresta are standalone real-time platforms, but both are built for contact-centre and customer-experience teams.
Balto
Contact-centre AI software for real-time guidance, quality assurance and coaching.
- Choose it when: you run high-volume phone sales, for example in insurance or financial services.
- Coaching features: Agent Assist for live guidance, automated QA scoring, coaching and call notes (Balto).
- Pricing: none published; demo only.
- Limitation: it markets to contact centres (financial services, insurance, healthcare, BPOs), not to B2B account executives running multi-stakeholder deals.
Cresta
An AI platform for customer-experience teams with live assist, coaching, quality management and AI agents.
- Choose it when: selling happens inside service and support conversations at contact-centre scale.
- Coaching features: Agentic Assist for live guidance, Coach and a Training Simulator, quality management and conversation intelligence (Cresta).
- Pricing: none published; book a demo.
- Limitation: the site targets customer-experience and front-line service teams and does not mention B2B field sales teams.
Outreach (Kaia)
Outreach’s AI conversation intelligence product, which joins calls live and surfaces content to reps in real time.
- Choose it when: your reps already work in Outreach and you want live help and call coaching in the same place.
- Coaching features: real-time transcription with live battlecards and content cards, manager views of when to step in, Kaia Playlists of top recordings, and one-sided call recording for compliance (Outreach Kaia).
- Pricing: per-user seats plus AI credits, no platform fee, no figures; the pricing page does not name Kaia. Amplify Essentials (10,000 AI credits) is the package focused on conversation intelligence and coaching, including live content cards and AI coach cards with automated scoring (Outreach pricing).
- Limitation: AI usage draws down a fixed credit allowance per package, and extra credit packs are bought separately.
How to choose AI sales coaching software
Start with the behaviour you want to change, then work back to the evidence that would show it changing. A call scorer cannot help a rep who has never practised a pricing conversation, and a role-play tool cannot tell you what happened on last Tuesday’s call.
Eight selection criteria
- Evidence source. Which conversations does it see (real calls, practice or live calls), and which meeting tools and dialers does it record?
- Your rubric, not theirs. Can you load your methodology stages and scorecard, and does every score point to the transcript moment behind it?
- Manager workflow. Does each manager get a short coaching queue (call moments, practice to assign, one-on-one prep), or only dashboards?
- Closed loop. Can a gap found on a real call trigger a role-play, and is the rep re-measured on later real calls?
- Calibration. Can enablement compare AI scores with manager scores on the same calls and fix the rubric where they disagree? Our coaching calibration rubric shows one way to run this.
- Privacy and consent. Recording consent by region, one-sided recording, retention periods, and whether your recordings are used to train the vendor’s models.
- Pricing mechanics. Platform fees (Gong), AI credit allowances (Outreach), multi-year terms (Allego) and package gates (Highspot puts meeting intelligence in Best only).
- Overlap with what you own. If you have Gong, price Gong Enable before buying a separate role-play tool; if you use Highspot, check which package you are on.
Which approach fits your team?
- SDR teams: AI role-play for openers and objections plus real-call scoring (Hyperbound, Second Nature, Gong).
- Enterprise AE teams: conversation intelligence for deal reviews plus deal-specific rehearsal before high-stakes meetings (Gong Dry Run, Highspot opportunity-based role-play).
- Frontline managers with large teams: a coaching queue, not another dashboard (Gong’s coaching inbox, Highspot Manager Scorecards, Mindtickle templates).
- Remote teams: asynchronous practice with AI feedback and manager review (Allego, Mindtickle, Second Nature).
- Contact-centre style inside sales: real-time agent assist (Balto, Cresta).
How to run a pilot of AI sales coaching software
A pilot should test whether coaching changes one behaviour on real calls, not whether reps like the tool. Here is a six-week design.
- Pick one behaviour and one call type (week 0). Example: on discovery calls, the rep agrees a dated next step before the call ends. Write the rubric line so two managers would score the same call the same way.
- Set a baseline (week 0). Score a sample of each rep’s recent discovery calls on that line, so every rep has a starting rate.
- Run two cohorts (weeks 1 to 4). One team uses the tool; a comparable team, matched on tenure and segment where possible, keeps its current coaching.
- Calibrate weekly. Two managers and the AI score the same five calls. Log disagreements and fix the rubric wording rather than overriding scores.
- Re-measure on real calls (weeks 5 and 6). Calculate the share of discovery calls with a dated next step for both cohorts, against each rep’s baseline.
- Decide on four measures: change in the target behaviour against the comparison cohort; manager minutes per rep per week; agreement between AI and manager scores; and the share of reps who completed their assigned practice.
Win rate moves too slowly, and depends on too much else, to judge in six weeks; track it after rollout. Agree pilot pricing and deletion of your recordings if you do not buy. To test the AI feedback itself, use the evaluation-set approach in how to evaluate AI coaching quality.
How much does sales coaching software cost?
None of the 12 tools publishes a price for a paid coaching product: Hyperbound lists a free plan, and Revspire’s published suite prices do not list coaching features. Compare pricing models instead: per user plus a platform fee (Gong); per user plus AI credits (Outreach, from 10,000 to 100,000 credits by package; ZoomInfo also prices on credit usage); per user, annual upfront, often multi-year (Allego); named packages without prices (Highspot, Hyperbound); and demo-only (Mindtickle, Second Nature, Salesloft, Balto, Cresta). Ask each vendor for the total cost at your seat count including platform fees, and what happens when credits or practice allowances run out.
Frequently asked questions
Is AI sales coaching worth it?
It is worth it when you can name the behaviour it should change and measure that behaviour on real calls. Published results come mostly from vendors’ own customer stories, so treat them as hypotheses. Run a pilot against a comparison team before you sign a multi-year contract.
How does AI sales coaching work?
The software captures a conversation (a recorded call, a role-play with an AI buyer or a live call), transcribes it and scores it against a rubric such as your methodology stages. It then recommends an action: a call moment for the manager to review, a practice scenario for the rep or a prompt during the call.
What is the difference between AI coaching and conversation intelligence?
Conversation intelligence records and analyses real customer calls and reports what happened: topics, competitors, talk patterns and deal risks. AI coaching uses that evidence, or a practice conversation, to tell a specific rep what to do differently and then checks whether they did. Many products now do both; Gong Enable, Allego and Mindtickle pair call analysis with practice.
Can AI replace a sales manager’s coaching?
No. AI can score every call and practice attempt and show where to look, but deciding what matters for a specific rep and deal is still the manager’s job. Use AI to cut review time and make scoring consistent, and keep managers in charge of calibration and of what gets coached in one-on-ones.
What is the best sales coaching software for enterprise?
Enterprise shortlists usually start from what is already in the stack: Gong or Salesloft for call-based coaching, Highspot by Seismic or Mindtickle if enablement already runs there, and Allego if you want practice, coaching and learning on one contract. Weight SSO, recording consent, permissions and calibration controls above feature counts.
Which sales coaching software includes role-play?
Allego, Highspot (from its Better package), Hyperbound, Mindtickle, Revspire and Second Nature all include AI role-play, and Gong Enable adds AI Trainer and Dry Run practice. Outreach and Balto focus on real-time guidance, while Cresta lists a Training Simulator next to its live assist.
How we chose these tools
We grouped tools by where the coaching evidence comes from and picked widely used B2B options in each group, plus two contact-centre real-time platforms for contrast. We read each vendor’s own product and pricing pages on 16 October 2026 and say so where no price is published; ownership changes come from vendor newsrooms. We did not test the products hands-on or use reviews, ratings or vendor-reported customer results.
To see AI role-play and scoring built around your own deal objections and playbooks, book a Revspire demo.
